Lorca- 45 minutes by car.
In 1964, Lorca was oficialy declared to a town with historical and artistical interest. It offers exceptional front decorations and coat of arms on the houses, a huge castle with role-playing, a collegiate church and the old antic part with museums. It has fashion boutiques, leather, jewellery and nice decorated cafe shops, and typical restaurants with delicious dishes (tapas). Many reasons while you should not miss out on a visit to Lorca. Cartagena - 2 hours by car
With more than three thousand years of age, the port is signed by all the different re-conquerors which marked with their culture the history of the city. Mini-Hollywood – 1 hour by car
Many of the most famous spaghetti western were produced on this locations by Tabernas. Nijar – ceramic village/local area/Nature park – 45 minutes by car.
Always worth a visit to discover a typical example for the volcanic landscape with a nature reserve, rare flora, hidden bays and a typical ceramic village.

Villaricos – 5 minutes by car.
It is a typical fishing village with a little port and yacht harbour and tasteful opportunities to enjoy their fresh fish and sea food in a typical atmosphere. Recently they discovered an old roman village, the town of Baría. This important excavation converted the village of Villaricos into a place of highest culture interest. Cuevas de Almanzora 15 minutes by car
Within their local area, Cuevas (caves) de Almanzora accommodates several excavations from the Neolithic and Phoenicians as well as ruins of many mines. A testimony of this short heyday at the beginning of the 20th century is the beautiful church and the magnificent mansions in the centre of the town. Nowadays the caves of Almanzora still belong to the favourite homes. The renaissance castle offers contemporary art and on the patio you can enjoy a weekly local market.
